I hope the above i enough to persuade you that a trip to st kilda is worth it even if you dont get there. George is such a good skipper that he managed to get us into loads of great dives and dodge the force 5/7/8s to keep us in sheltered sites.
McClouds maidens is a site I would dive again and again. Likewise the port Napier. Both off Skye. I would never have got there if we had gone to Kilda.
