Very interesting, and love the photos. We did a very similar trip in August.
Aberdeen - Amstredam - Quito then after two days exploring the old town on to Galapagos. We did a 5 day island tour on the mv Galapagos Explorer and then out to Wolf and Darwin on the mv Galapagos Aggressor 1.
I am still learning how to use the Gallery and Photobucket - I will post our photos soon. Our experience of this marvellous place was similar to yours.
