If I was you I'd weigh up the pros and cons. What will buying an f31/40 give you that the Nikon can't do. If the answer is "not a lot" then the funds would be better off spent on something else, a strobe for instance. I'd say buy something that allows you to take "different" photos, not just upgrade because everyone else seems to have a little Fuji.
We all suffer from gear lust, some more than others, and I personally have made a lot of mistakes buying kit that in all honesty wasn't needed.
