This is a crop, ripping off a compostition of Tazzie's I think Vis round the Prawns was pretty awful and as I've got loads of shots from previous trips to St Abbs I was trying to do different things.

We both talked about this in St Abbs. It did look like there were differences between what Daniel's D70 and my D80 were getting. At the Farnes Daniel briefly leant me his Sigma 100-300 with 1.4x converter on to get a decent closeup of a Puffin. Looking through these shots there is a significant difference in colour saturation between what the Sigma achieved and the Nikon 18-200 I normally use top side. So the difference may come from the lens. Although I'd guess most of it is from processing in Lightroom. I've re-WBed the shot, maybe Daniel hasn't? I've also upped the saturation a bit (well maybe a lot). The software I use to watermark also seems to screw colours up and adds even more contrast.
