In the pool where I have been practising something became very apparent, that I need to go to the gym and buid up those arm muscles and that the method i used for attaching me to my compact will not suffice with the DSLR.

With My compact used a lanyard while i was taking pictures then at the end of the dive I would clip the camera to my wing whilst i deployed my DSMB etc. It had a quick release fastner so i could just unclip and pass to skipper put on platform etc aswell.

So i was wondering how do people attach their cameras to themselves? Is it somethin i will have to buy or can i fashion it out of some yoghurt pots and sticky back plastic blue peter style.
