Regular users will have seen the site has been off-line for a short time while we have been introducing some new developments. We are constantly seeking to improve the site to enhance your enjoyment. You will instantly notice the new look, but changes are far more than merely cosmetic.

We are running on a completely new and quicker engine which will not only make using the site easier but has allowed us to introduce new features.

The Gallery is now an integral part of the site and you will find it much easier to take pictures from your album and put them into posts on the forum. Unfortunately it was not possible to import your pictures from the old gallery onto the new system. Take this as an opportunity to review your portfolio and upload your very best images to the new site!

We also have a new Shop section, in partnership with Amazon. Here you will find a selection of titles of interest to the underwater photographer, both in print and DVDs. You can now purchase these directly and securely through the site, so with Christmas approaching make sure your nearest and dearest take a look! And every purchase made via Digigreen generates a small contribution from Amazon to the running of our site.

But it doesn't stop there. We are now part of the Diving Network; incorporating Yorkshire Divers (the largest diving internet forum in the UK), Travel Dive (providing articles about diving worldwide), Shadow Divers (for those technically minded) and The Deepstop (a host for diver's blogs - and why not add your own?). You will find easy links for all of our partners within the Network on the Home page. If you are not already familiar with these sites go and take a look!

In order to log into the new site you do not need to register again, but for security purposes you have been allocated a new initial password. Go to http://www.digigreen.net/forums/login.php?do=lostpw and request a Password Reminder and a temporary password will be sent by e-mail. You can, of course, then re-set your password as you wish. If you experience any problems contact us at Admin@digigreen.net.

We are confident that you will enjoy the new look and all the new features, but what really makes Digigreen is you, the members. The changes we have made will help the site grow so that even more underwater photographers can share their knowledge and experience to the benefit of us all. So keep on posting!

Great stuff Tim and all those that gave you a hand.

I have to confess to having forsaken DG for the last few weeks as I found each thread and page was just taking too long to load which was incredibly frustrating. However, reading the posting above it looks as though I wasnt the only one. As its my second favourite site that I check out daily I have missed it and in particular some of the fantastic pic you people post on here, so its nice to be back and will spend the evening catching up and posting!

I shall go and undate my clubs website with the latest link as I do try and promote DG whenever possible as I think its a great source of help and information from all the people who post on it and I know it is going to continue to grow.
All those hours and hours on the computer have been worth it Tim as its looking really good.
