I've added a really neat tag feature to the site which I hope you all like. This essentially acts like a quick search function, and you will find the 'tag cloud' on the front page and around the site below threads and other places. Simply click on a tag and it will show you all the threads that have been tagged with that tag - simple.

Have a play and let me know what you think - at this moment guests viewing the site will not be able to use the feature.

Thanks Derek. I really like it too - in fact, I've rediscovered a number of old threads by just roaming around by clicking on the tags.

In order to make the tag system work better I've made the Tag field on new Threads a requirement. This means that the OP will have to add at least one tag to be able to make the post.

At the moment we have a number of threads without tags, this means they will not be picked up in the Tag Cloud and so will not show up if anybody wishes to search the forums using tag system.

I've been going through a number of threads adding tags where they are missing.

Tags should be keywords that describe the thread and it's contents.

I thought of adding my article on O Rings as just that, an article.The system is telling me that I need to add a Tag but, try as I might (call me stupid), I can't find anywhere in the Articles section where I can add one.

So my article is just sitting there ATM, fortunately I rarely turn my machines off and since they're Macs they're unlikely to go t*ts up.

That's a new one on me. For now I've disabled the tags system on the articles so try posting now.
