Hi folks
Sorry I haven't posted for ages. Heres a pic of a Blue Jaw Fish. I didn't think much of it at the time. I just banged a few shots off, I have since found out it is a bit rare. I only have 10 shots of it, one has good composure, but out of focus. What I am trying to say is make every shot count. ![]()

what a stunner, did you have to wait long for this fellow to show, or was he happy to show off.

Well it never stayed still, bobing in and out of it's hole.
I waited for about 5mins for it to get used to me. Shot about 10 frames then moved on, if I had known it was rareish I would have spent more time on it. I had never seen a Flamingo tongue before, so spent time on the ones I found I must have 20 keepers. I do believe now, that one of the key things in getting a good photos, is knowing how to interact with your subjects. The Jaw fish was shot at f20 @ 125 iso200 with the canon 100mm macro I would up the shutter speed if was taking them again. Ho and there is a fair bit of croping involved. Ken
