Barbados October 2007
I'm kinda forgetting my manners I fear - I posted this on YD but should have done so here too.
I've just finally sorted out some pictures from October's trip to Barbados. Not a diving trip as such (I was with a sports tour as photographer and general management helper!) but I fitted in quite a few hours snorkelling in Carlisle Bay plus a couple of dives (Carlisle Bay and the Stav) - and one of the obligatory catamaran tours with stops for fish feeding and turtles. Haroon Degia from The Dive Shop Ltd. - SCUBA DIVING IN BARBADOS! was as helpful as ever, recommended; and we went out with Cool Runnings Catamaran Cruises - Sailing Barbados. Pictures are at Picasa Web Albums - David P - Barbados Unde.... Sample below... Locations are in the file names. Taken in typically 10-15 metres, many are just freediving, some are on scuba. These are all taken on an F30 with available light - either with manual white balance or an Auto Magic Filter (I'm being so unscientific I can't recall which is which!). Rather than doing too much work on them (they could all be better processed!) I've just run them through the "I'm feeling lucky" button in Picasa - which has kinda polished the originals without unduly changing them. Cracking little camera! |

I really like them, looking down on the wreck and a couple of the turtle shots in particular.
Impressive all with natural light too ![]()
