Awww thanks Annie planning is defo the answer which is why I managed to get some good pier shots - I knew what I was after then dived the site 3 times, once on macro and twice with wide angle.

However (there's always a but isn't there! ) when I went back the third time to get my "piece de resistance" (he he he) I forgot one critical element - getting someone to model for me!!! I'd planned my dive so well that I was out of everyone's way and able to do my own thing for the whole dive, I wasn't expecting that!!

It's given me a real project to get my teeth into though, prior to the Dumagete pier Swanage Pier had always been my favourite dive but I always shot macro down there cos of the viz.. I'm now planning a series of wide angle shoots down there and also planning my next trip around some of the famous piers in Australia so am very excited at the direction my journey is taking at the moment

If you've got any piers in South West Wales and want an excuse to get out with your camera let me know!!!

No piers that I know of, but some great dive sites so if ever you fancy coming over this way just give me a shout. Just be prepared for me to be drooling over your kit!.....Maybe we could even have a welsh Digigreen get together.....?

Hi Annie,

I'm long overdue a trip to South Wales as my mother lives in Swansea.

You name the place and we can organise something.

Tim

A welsh get together sounds good. I'd be up for it.
