Stoney / Diver Splash In - this weekend
Maria and I are still very unsure whether we will bother making the trip on Saturday for this. The prospect of low viz and the top car park is not exactly appealling.
Who is think of going? D |

Daniel,
Not dived there for a while, but apparently the vis has improved (5m). It looked clear around the pub last night. If it helps persuade you, Simon is planning to get there stupid o'clock. The reason that's an advantage as he'll be in his Transit van, so suggests that if people end up on the top car-park he can be a good big base for the day. I'm going and diving with Simon. A few of the big names and previous winners of the Stoney Splash-in from EMUP (Trevor Rees, Charles Erb and Tim Priest) aren't doing it as it's Dive Fest and the BUIF Splash-in the weekend after. If I wasn't an hour further north I'd suggest staying at mine. Rob PS Brian Pitkin said he's one of the judges, but when Linda and he arrived at EMUP last night said it was their first visit to Stoney. I suggested he should dive in there some time as he could see what conditions we have to work with.

Simon
The last one is clearly that pick of the shots. Sharp, well lit, nice non-distracting background. Are these the three shots you entered in Wide Angle, Marine Life, MAcro? I take it that you got on with the new housing? D |
