On-line processing
I want to get my photos done at a reasonable size for display at home, maybe even exhibit some, and ultimately to sell them. In the past I have printed photos on my photo-realistic money-eating HP printer, but I am finding this isn't ideal and that photos tend to stick to glass when put in frames.
I've used Jessops and Bonusprint on line. The former decided to optimize my photos and due to the lack of red totally changed the photos. The latter did a good job, but I felt the photos lacked saturation. So have any of you used online services for printing? I'm thinking of using Peak-Imaging. They came out top in Practical Photography Magazine and they've sent me an explanation of how to calibrate my monitor to their printers. They will even supply a calibration photo. Ultimately I'm looking for real quality and for that I am prepared to pay extra. So what are your experiences? Rob

I used the bonus print online service recently for a poster sized print. I was really quite pleased with the quality of the result and it compared very well to a photo I had printed at a local printers.
