how to find an old dive buddy

during my Msc, I spent some time in Aberdeen, where I dived regularely with a guy named Keith Hobart. When I revisited Aberdeen a few years ago, I couldnt find his name in the online phone book, and also learned the diveshop I used was belly-up. Every now and then I tried a search but no luck. He used to work in oil, but not offshore anymore.

If somebody knows him, it would be great to get in touch again. Is there any UK diving forum or mail list, where I might be able to find him. I don't really want to join more forums, but if someone would post for me?

I can put this on Yorkshire Divers for you and Conger Alley the Scottish Diving Forum. Maybe someone registered could do the others ie BSAC etc

He is a PADI diver, so the BSAC forum is probably not useful.
