Errrrrrrrrr I seem to have double booked myself for this weekend and see that I am booked on a wreck identification course. (this is for sad people like me that cant recognise a winch from a bollard..........well at least I hope thats whats its about!). I have come to the conclusion that I tend to view a wreck as a reef so I never really notice the wreck itself being more interested in what is making its home on it or growing on it.

You're certainly not alone there. I can tell you what a rudder, propeller, or hold looks like but that is about it. Having a post dive chatter after diving one of the ships in Scapa, Maria claimed not to have seen any guns. After telling her that I had even pointed it out, her reply was along the lines "oh, thats what it was"!

Well, I'm still on for Babbacombe Simon.

Haven't booked anything yet so need to get around to that.

Given Rob's comments about the changes at Babba can anybody confirm if it's still ok to dive?

Tim

well the deodorant, cant be all that bad. Or they dont want to play hide and seek.

Still up for a dip. AlexM did, dive at babbcombe 24/4 so could ask him to post any info.

will also email the hotel and the cafe for some info as well.
simon.

Plenty of people still seem to be diving there, so it looks like no change there yet.

Diving there is not a problem but you can't get a fill from the cafe any more. We had a club trip there end of march, I'm hoping to get there on the 17th aswell
