Ken,
I'm quite interested in this and will inform all at EMUP. For me though, it might turn out to be to close to the Plymouth BSoUP Splash-in - being a divorced dad it's likely your weekend will be a kids weekend for me. If it isn't and work allows I fancy coming along. So question is, much shore diving up there? I presume getting on a boat may be a little tricky this late. Rob

I can put you in touch with someone who's thinking about organising a boat and may have spaces. Myself I'll be shore diving, which I've done every year but one that we've run this competition. It's possible to dive Menai Strait early on the day. There is also time to get down to Trefor and dive the Pier. Other than that there's several places around Anglesey that you can shore dive. Places that come to mind are Ravens Point, Holyhead Harbour, and several of the bays out of Treaddur. It depends on the weather where the best places to dive are.
I should mention that if you are thinking of staying over the Treaddur Beach hotel is expensive. We'll be staying at the Beach Motel which is walking distance. There's also the moranedd B&B.

Ooh, now this should be possible for me to do. I'll pencil this in.
Thanks for the notice Ken. Tim
