St Brides - West Wales - beginning of July maybe??
Following on from my comment on Tazzie's thread about having a Welsh Digigreen get together I thought maybe we could try to arrange something for the first or second weekend of July. If we want to stick to shore diving we can keep it flexible, change the date if necessary and anyone can come along at the last minute. St Brides bay is a great dive site, lots of kelp to get lost in searching for critters. Maximum depth of about 10m (maybe 12 if we hit a high tide) Air fills are about five minutes or so away at Hasguard Cross as is camping if required.
If you are interested can you add your name to the list and say which weekend you would prefer. If the dates aren't convenient give an alternative and we'll go with the most popular. 1. Annie - any weekend will be fine (at the moment!) 2. 3. I could also arrange boat dives out of Abercastle if you prefer. I'm not sure about camping facilities but I can find out. It would be £55 per person for 2 dives but I would have to find out what dates would be available. There are some interesting wrecks and beautiful reefs. Choice would depend on conditions on the day. The boat can take up to 4 divers at a time.

The second weekend in July is the Plymouth Splash-in, so I can't make that weekend.

Can I put a stick in the ground and call the weekend of the 26th and 27th? That's the only free weekend I have in July.
If so, then it's 1. Annie 2. Tim (boat or shore dive ok) 3. 4.

I'll put 26th/27th on my calendar! I'll also check out if the boat would be available that weekend as well.

Whacky, when could you come, and would you prefer shore or boat dives?

lol I dont need any excuse to go diving but work seems to think i need to do it when i am not there.
I work roughly every other weekend but a few trips i have planned have messed that pattern up, I just know i cant do the 26/27th as i am off on Martin Edges liveaboard subject to actually having a useable camera. In short for a big trip like this it's easier to go with the masses, but I will pop along for a trip, as for diving type I'm not fussy just so long as I'm diving |

I don't have a weekend free until August at the moment
and then only a couple I'll watch the thread and if anything drops out pop along last minute if I may.Whacky, I have a Fuji 30 + housing you can borrow to use for Martin's workshop + trip if that's any use? I also have a S&S YS27 (I think it's called) strobe you can borrow, only thing it needs is a cable to fire it from the strobe.
