spreadsheet.

I am hoping for a whizz with excel to be able to help me with a problem.

At work we have various mandatory training that needs to be repeated on an anuall basis. I would lke to set up a spreadsheet to co-ordinate this a lot better. Basically the idea is that we input the name the dates of the training as it gets to within a month of the due date the cell will turn amber. When it goes beyond the year red and when it's indate green.

Is this possible and if so how do i do it?

An unusual request for a photo board but here goes.

I suggest you set the cells to a green font then use the conditional format menu from the format menu.

This sets anything from 30 days before today's date to amber and anything from today's date onwards as red. The order you add the conditions is important as it evaluates the first condition and then only looks at the second condition if the first is false. In this case if you changed the order the result would always be green or amber.
