Moving On

Some of you may have noticed that I've not been particularly active lately and that's because I've been somewhat busy with a whole range of things. Not least amongst these is that I've been looking at a new position in the company. After a bit of to-ing and fro-ing I've decided to take the new job.

So, from now on I'll be even more busy than ever as I try and manage the current role and transition into the new one - made somewhat more difficult as the new role is based in Belgrade, Serbia! As this is a little far to commute the whole family will be moving over just as soon as we get everything sorted - which is a lot.

Now, as far as Digigreen goes this move will not impact on the site at all - It started whilst I was living in Ireland (using a dial-up connection), continued whilst I was in the UK and will continue when I'm in Serbia.

The one downer for me in all this is that the amount of diving I will be able to do will be reduced somewhat drastically as Belgrade is even further from the coast than Leicester. My intial guess would put the nearest bit of coast at about a 10 hour drive so not something I will be able to do every weekend.

Now, it won't be Green water either so I'm sure you can see how this might exacberate my dissapointment even further . It is temperate tho! Even worse is that I be diving the very beautiful Croatian coastline in warm weather and unlikely to be blown out every (any?) weekend.

Anyway, I'll try and keep up with the site over the next few weeks to make sure that threads are deleted, spammers are banned etc etc. And, If i'm really lucky, I may even be able to get a dive in over the bank holiday weekend!

Tim

Good luck Tim, a big change of life coming up. I hope you enjoy it over there. I'm sure you're making the right decision, if you didn't go you'd always wonder what it would have been like.

Tim,
When are you off? Have we got time for a last pint in the Windmill? I'll be in Sweden for rest of August.

I'm sure it will be a good move, and knowing you it wont be too long before you tell us about the next destination!!

Good luck to all of you,
Rob

So take it if diving is reduced, there`s no buggies & kites.
Best of luck tim.

All the best with the new job, Tim.

I, too, have just changed roles. With my new role I don't have to move and I may even have more time to dive.

Thanks for the comments - moving abroad again was something I've wanted to do since coming back to the UK. Serbia will be more of a challenge than my previous expat experiences and so a lot more exciting.

As for Kiting, well, I'll be scouting for suitable locations just as soon as I can.

Tim
