UW filters
Anyone know anything about Kood filters? Just buying myself a polarising filter and came across Kood underwater colour correction filters. 67mm ones are £20 and they come in orange (blue water) or magenta (green):

If possible I'd use them outside the housing, that way you can remove them underwater if you want to.
This is easier on a digital compact, where the threads for mounting accessories are outside the housing, than an SLR, where the threads will be on the front of the lens, and so inside the housing (Some SLR lenses have a rear mounting for filters, but they'll still be in the housing rather than outside). If used on a compact with a wet-mount lens you'd put the filter between the lens and the housing, just keep an eye on the corners of the image for vignetting - moving an adapter lens forward might cause problems. |

Jules
I remember reading on the net a story where some bloke left a UV filter in the end of the 7070 and put it in the housing. He turned it on underwater and the lens came out and broke as it couldn't extend fully. So I think these would go on the 67mm ring, not on the 40.5mm lens. Now I did order a Kood UV filter for topside, so I'll measure it and see if it will fit and let you know. I was actually looking for a cheap UV filter. Rob
