Spares for housing for C5050
]Hi all,
Does anyone know if you can get spares for the olympus housing for the C5050z (PT015 i think). I have dropped it and dented the red ring at the very front (bad description I know so heres a piccy. http://www.camerasunderwater.co.uk/d...pus/pt015.html (the one in front of the lens) Its not affecting my photo taking at the moment, but assume thats where i woud attach filters and lens if I* wanted to go that way?? Anyone know if you can get them anywhere? Thanks Helen |

I think Olympus treat these housings as disposable, so spares might be tricky. I'd give Cameras Underwater or Luton Cameras a call - one of these should know.

If the dent isn't too big then you could try gently pulling the dented area out using a pair of pliers making sure that you don't damage the thread. Then try screwing in a filter or lens. If this doesn't work then try puting a WTB ad on any of the photo forums - you never know, somebody may come to your aid.
