Question regarding the self-adhesive Velcro patch

With My new strobe i need to stick a sync cable on with the velcro patch since the case
does not have a sync port.
Does any one know if it is safe to stick the self-adhesive velcro patch that comes
with the fibre-optic sync cable directly to the uw camera casing, or will the adhesive damage the case ?

It does not say if its safe or not.

Kind Regards
Thomas

I have to use the sticky velcro patch as mine is a compact camera without a sync connector. I had it on my last (fuji) housing for over a year, removed it to sell it and you'd never know it had been there. My new (ikelite) housing has had loads on it for 2 fibre optic cables to connect to.

No problems for me.
