Fuji F30 (again..sorry)
Right oh, ages ago someone somewhere posted a link to a site advertising the F30 at a very reasonable price and I have searched all over and can't find it.
Cameras underwater have it for £299 with housing. Where is the best deal for this little camera please? Does anyone know? (does anyone care?) I'm sorry to bore the drawers off you all but I'm trying to save a couple of squids. Thanks ![]() |

Always up for a searching challenge... My experience was that looking to buy the camera and housing separately (they're both mainstream products) looked like the cheapest route.
A quick search via Offer of the Day - All the best discount deals from major UK retailers suggests Amazon have the F31 at £140 and the F30 at £132. Fuji Fuji Finepix F30 UK Digital Cameras F30 £125 - best I've found so far... Fuji themselves have a refurb at £115 Refurbished Digital Camera Shop from Fujifilm and their website says the housing is out of stock (so I wonder if others' delivery forecasts are optimistic?) Postage is always an issue (ie compare like for like). Housings are harder - they seem to be in variable supply. £120 upwards, normal price £150. I think mine came from Fuji Finepix F30 Underwater Case WP-FXF30 and accessories from the Digital Camera Company UK Fuji F30 Underwater Housing & - UNDERWATER HOUSINGS for Digital Cameras - Underwater Cameras seemingly have the package (camera and housing) at £280 but no stock indication. Diving Direct package at £270!! FujiZone by GreatDigitalDeals - Your Dedicated UK Fuji Outlet worth a look. The Cameras Underwater: Fuji WP-FXF30 underwater housing and Ikelite 6154.20, 6154.30 for F20 and F30,F31fd deal is better than it looks as it includes a half-way decent card and leather case (a nice leather if it's the Fuji one!). They're more likely to have stock than most. Right - that's enough... PM here or YD if you want any further advice... Memory - a 1GB card is more than ample, 7dayshop.com - Online shopping made easy ! are excellent on price. I personally use an external card reader to download pics to the PC - some card readers have problems with some 1GB XD cards, there are easy solutions. Good luck! David P. Good luck - hope you find someone who's actually got all the bits in stock... Mine's barely been wet since I got it, still waiting for some decent-enough viz somewhere... But initial results looked very promising. On land, at least, I'm very impressed with it.
