Help with price please :)
Hi
Due to work and just time i have decided to part with my diving kit inc camera but have not got a clue what price so can anyone here maybe give some advice what this should be worth on forum or e-bay ? Thanks shane Olympus c-7070 digital camera with pt-027 underwater case the camera has 3 batteries and charger etc also a 1g cf card and a 32 mb cf also a 512 mb xd and 32 mb xd card also i have found up a red glass filter to add to the end of the case its a Helipan one. all boxed etc with instructions for camera and case also discs for lead and usb adaptor, all excellent condition Thanks shane |

Hi Shane, I would think that £400 would be a good guess but you may have to come down from that.
However, I'm useless at pricing secondhand gear so you may want to take the above with a pinch of salt. Hope you get a quick sale. Tim

Shame about the diving kit and camera.
well the camera should go for about £185 pounds to £275 pounds on ebay,on its own. The housing if in good condition would be worth say £30 pounds/40 pounds. Think if you have all the boxes and items are in good condition, would be looking about a third of the new value on ebay so the value is what your happy with, i would put on a reserve, of say £225 pounds with £25 postage and insurance. Place the items as for sale worldwide, pop some underwaterpictures on, and the items are as good as sold. Hope this helps. simon.

I've pretty much got the same kit (Wife is inheriting when I move to DSLR soon) and if I sold on ebay would not expect to get more than about £300/£350 if you are lucky (the Camera went for £240 recently on Ebay)

Kit: Formerly Olympus c7070 but finally made the jump to DSLR - Canon 450D, 60mm Macro Lens, Ikelite Housing, DS125 - and now a nice new sparkly 10-17 Fisheye (plus a dome port and another DS125 - thank god for tax rebates!)
