Canon A530 and WP-DC60

Hi,

I have a Canon A530, according to Canon there is no waterproof housing available for this model.

Recently I was told that the WP-DC60 (originally designed for the A510- and A520-series) can also hold an A530, and one of the Amazon reviewers also mentioned this possibility. Has anyone every tried this, does it work?

And is it worthwhile; are the A520 and the A530 suitable for underwater photography in the first place?

I don't know for sure but if you want to try it I have a housing you can try it in.

My A520 flooded (user error) i got some good pics from it.
