Someone give Mark some feedback as I suggested he posted them here as he was tired of the "oh lovely photos" you always get on YD.

I'd rather comment on one or just a few images then an entire trip worth of shots....(even though cut down to 70) . That i make comments doenst mean I can do it better, just some thoughts...
General: * is it the onboard strobe that leaves the top half of the image a bit lighter then the bottom half? * There are a few images when a little post-WB might be able to get rid of the blue cast. * composition sometimes too center -oriented (subject in the middle), but other times very nice * sometimes the fish are swimming away, its nicer if they swim towards you (might be the shutter delay) I really like the anemone fish with the diver, although you might want to consider a more attractive diver ![]() I also like the close up of the clamps mantle, and the second last sunbeam shot. I feel you could have tried some more variations there to come up with a more diagonal composition.

Hi Mark,
I don't really know that much cos I'm still pretty new to all this but I like them, especially the anemone fish (spelling could be terrible) and the close up of the blue spotted ray. The main thing I'd say is you could bring out loads more colour from some of the pics that look quite blue. I'd suggest that you download Adobe's underwater action which you can do from this website http://www.jackandsuedrafahl.com/download.html, the website has some other useful information on it too if you look around. This action sometimes makes the water look a bit of a purpley colour but is great on other photo's. I also like Picasa (free to download) this is really good for quick fixes to photos, this is particularly good if you aren't keen on spending loads of time fixing your photos. Hope this helps.
