    Stoney Cove shots

I had an enjoyable dive yesterday with Simon. Did a couple of experiments, one you will hear more about and other was a total cock up. We managed to find the new wreck, which is OK.

Here are my favourite 3 from the dive:

    Comments welcome,
    Rob

PS the cock up also meant I put the camera onto manual focus, so Defiant is blurred

I like the idea on the second one. I believe that this is a shot going back and working on.

Would there be any interest in arranging a DG outing to Stoney one weekend relatively soon? Maria and I wouldn't be looking at a silly-o'clock start but probably 11.30 to let the early birds clear off home. That should also give others travelling a reasonable lay in.

    I didn't mean a whole weekend

Some of us can't disappear mid-week. No annual leave. Too many diving holidays booked

I know what you meant, and you're still mental. Once we're well into November I may consider it. At present, even midweek, there are lots of schools so vis isn't great. The place is also best avoided if it's been raining a lot as run off also reduces vis. So unless you get there early on a Saturday it's not going to be the easiest to take photographs. There are a couple of places where vis may be better, but they are good swimming distance.

I agree with Alex. That shot of the pike with the weed looks great.

You lot could always come and visit us for a bimble at Capers or even better how about a weekend jaunt to Anglesey for some cheap shore diving?

If we can shore dive Anglesey late October then Maria and I are certainly up it.
