Good idea Daniel. Hey, do you fancy Wraysbury next time the weather is clement?
My fav green water this year is probably the pike from Stoney

I know that this is a bit of a copy cat from WP but being a [predominately] green water site I thought it could be good to have our own green water best, or just favourite, shot of the year. I will start with one of mine (although I reserve the right to change it when I get home your work). This is not a particular recent shot, and dark as ever because of still needing to calibrate my netbook, but here it is.
I think that it is rather testament to my lack of UK diving this year. I have probably only done about 35 UK dives and a fair number of those have been in fairly appalling conditions.

This is my favourite photo of the year (and probably my fave photo I've taken)

Certainly, although it may have to be a weekend. I only have 4 days leave left until September and I am rather hoping to save a couple of those for some midweek Swanage trips when the weather clears up.
If weekends are OK (early Saturdays are likely to less stirred up) then just let me know whenever you fancy it.

Hmmm!
I'm going to cheat and have two!
One is the same image I used on WP of a Farnes Island seal. These guys were very playful and interacted with us for a long hour and a half. It was a dive that I will remember for a long time!
The second is from a great wide angle session I had here at Capernwray earlier this month!
Wishing you all a happy New Year. Safe diving and great shooting for 2010
Adam
Rob, is this one from your Scottish river trip last Easter? A nice shot but what is it about it that makes it your favourite?
It funny how seal pictures seem to so often be the favourite UK shots. I just envious as my trip to Lundy was such a washout. Looking through the shots from the trip last night I spent most of the weekend photographing seaweed
Alex (Alsky) and I were talking of venturing up to Capers. There are just so many wonderful trout shots from there. It is logistics that is the problem. We want the best of conditions which is not going to be easy to plan given the required notice.

What I like about it is the way it combines topside landscape photography with a bit of underwater. I wish there was a trout in the water part, but you can't have everything. Of all the photos I took this year this is the one where I had an idea and actually went out and executed it. As a photo it shows many of the things I love; the great outdoors and the babbling brook. I have this at A3 in our kitchen. It's also the sort of print you look at time and time again and see something you hadn't noticed before.

PS I really should clone Trevor out of the image!

Rob,
Nice shot. Am I really in your picture somewhere? - I've looked hard but can't see myself.
I think my favouite would be a split image from the same bit of river we both used - the one I used in this years BSoUP Best of British portfolio.
I need to think of a another favourite.

How about this shot of a Sea-goosebery.
It was a tricky little subject floating in the current from a shore dive in Pembrokeshire. I like it because it was a new subject and a real challenge to get in the frame in focus. I've made a point of leaving in all the backscatter.
