Does the photo have to be taken in the month in question? or is this an excuse to raid your back catalogue and give an outing to some decent ones from last year?

Well the photo should be taken in the month of the challenge. As the month progresses thos should certainly be the case. We won't mind if you post a couple of your back catalogue.

Monthly Challenge of May

I think we should appreciate both - it's a great thing if people get out to do a real "mission-dive" and get those anemones. But on the other hand it's also a great thing if it inspires people to look through their older shots and post some goodies.

And Tim; that was a brilliant photo! But the Cup coral isn't strictly an anemone, or...? *hehe* It's a cnidarian, so I guess it's allright... Here's one I did in Oslo:

Hi John,

I can't view any of the pictures that you've posted. I just get a busted image icon. When I right click and ask to view image I get an error stating that I dont have access to the file.
