Well done Rob - what I thought was an eye was just part of the pattern,hence my earlier comment. This is certainly a good way of improving ones identification skills of UK marine life.

Not well done at all. I was so convinced it was a Cuckoo Wrasse that I was searching the web and and the more and more I saw them, the more convinced I got. I then stumbled across fishwisperer's website, and there it was!!!
