I was going to go with a wrasse on this one, but I think I'll go for a stickleback instead... Maybe?

Hmm... I'm probably getting the colouration wrong but I'm guessing it's might, maybe, possibly be a Goldsinny Wrasse?

My first reaction was some form of pipefish, but not looking like that!

I've got a snake pipefish at the moment as my wallpaper on my works PC. I recon if you blow out the top half it would look like this. So I'm voting snake pipefish. Although saying that I'm not 100% sure it's not got a white upper half, I'll stick with my gut reaction.

I will say that the dark area in the bottom rhs does make you think that it has a very thin head. For that reason I would go for a pipe fish as it is the only thing that I can think like that.

I'm still sticking with pipefish, but juvenile and very small fish often have very large eyes, so could also have a similar form. It was the thin head that made me think pipefish.
