Closest thing I can find are the eggs of a Tritonia Hombergi (page 137 Great British Marine Animals or http://www.aholley.co.uk/one_image.asp?strName=Tritonia%20hombergi&strImg=i mages/countries/uk3/big/StA4a-Trit-homb1.jpg&strNotes=Laying%20eggs )

![]() Hombergi spawn.St Abbs. Its not Hombergi slug spawn as I see loads of this at St Abbs and its flat and only 1-2 cm big. The Large egg mass is BIG. 10cm . Only thing i can think of is a Sea Hare or a big free swimming slug. Speaking of that some guys have reported sightings of Spanish Dancers off Dunbar and that aint far off St Abbs. ![]() Last edited by olddog; 15-05-2008 at 02:54. |
