Egg mass ??????

Finding these egg balls all over St Abbs area. About 10 cm big. Look like slug eggs but it would be a hell of a big slug

Any idea what laid them?

Closest thing I can find are the eggs of a Tritonia Hombergi (page 137 Great British Marine Animals or http://www.aholley.co.uk/one_image.asp?strName=Tritonia%20hombergi&strImg=i mages/countries/uk3/big/StA4a-Trit-homb1.jpg&strNotes=Laying%20eggs )

Nudibranch eggs, although I wouldn't know which one, might be tritonia like Tazzie says.

Hombergi spawn.St Abbs.

Its not Hombergi slug spawn as I see loads of this at St Abbs and its flat and only 1-2 cm big.

The Large egg mass is BIG. 10cm . Only thing i can think of is a Sea Hare or a big free swimming slug.

Speaking of that some guys have reported sightings of Spanish Dancers off Dunbar and that aint far off St Abbs.
