Smile Hi dare

Hi Guys

Quick intro (about time) been diving since 2002 with some 250+ dives so far, taking photos since 2006, started with Olympus mju600 great camera and housing but not that good for macro so went to Canon A640 with Canon housing, again what a great camera, can’t say the same for the housing though, flooded twice…second time took the camera out so, just replaced it with Canon G7 and Ikelite housing, after quick test in Stoney on Wednesday it’s off for it’s first dip in Exmouth this weekend.

Current equipment:
Canon G7, Ikelite housing, Epoque ES150DSa.
Shopping for:
Inon wide angle, Inon Fisheye and maybe a strobe to utilise the TTL on the camera.

Cheers
Andy

Andy,
Welcome to Digigreen.

I see you are in Leicester. May I point you in the direction of emup.org.uk?
Rob

PS if you ever fancy a dip in the Cove let me know, I'm just up the road.

Nice pointer on the emup, I’m at the Cove fairly regularly myself, I drive a bronze frog (multipla) or can generally be found in the vicinity of the “Just Diving” van.
Will be spending plenty of time at Stoney over the winter months practising in the better viz and may well pop along to some of the Tuesday evening talks, looks like a good line up so far.

Cheers
Andy

Ps
The viz at Exmouth over the weekend was shite.

Hi Zok, Welcome to Digigreen.

Like Rob, I'm not a million miles from Stoney and often pop down there for a dip if the coast is not an option.

Did you manage to get any photos this weekend?

Tim

Thanks

Britagne was the first dive 2M max viz, was more concerned with losing my buddy than taking pics, flashed a couple of things but noting worth keeping.
Galicia for the second dive, opted to take someone down who freaked on the first dive so left the camera topside, shame because the viz was much better, a good 3-4M.
Had a couple of shallower reef dives planned for the Sunday and thought that these would b a good opportunity to get some snaps, unfortunately due to a technical hitch (we weren’t booked on the boat) we ended up paddling on the beach eating ice cream.
Ahwell it was still a good weekend.

Cheers
Andy
