It comes from classical Greek and in my view should not be tampered with - the merkins do a lot of things wrong, one of which is spelling.

How's about the Wide Angle Forum of the Technical Section?

Now, I may be telling my grandmother how to suck eggs here, oops, I'm not in the least suggesting that you're that old, but you should tell us the lens you're using it with it as well as the dome port you're using. A URL for that latter might also be useful.

From memory the lens is the Canon 10-22mm zoom. Hmmmmmmm.
