Hi From Newbie

Hi all. Looking forward to being an active forum member and getting lots of useful advice from you all!

Learnt to dive about 8 years ago in Australia. Was taking photos with a housed disposable before i came home! Went digital a few years ago with a Samsung Digimax with Samsung housing. Eventually added a wide angle Sea & Sea adaptor and a strobe. Used a UR Pro filter to get some coulour back which gave some okay results.

Now use Canon DSLRs and have waited a long time to pick up some second hand kit. Have recently picked up an Ikelite 20D housing which i plan to use with a DS50 i had picked up last year. Pretty much all of the kit is second hand so big savings compared to new.

Hope to get it wet soon and start getting some pictures.

Jim

Hi Jim and welcome to Digigreen.

Feel free to ask any questions as you get used to the new kit and, as Jayne says, post your pictures up - getting others views on them can be the best way to learn.

Tim

I have, hopefully, attached a link to my gallery to my signature. Some of my better shots can be found there. All the underwater shots were taken with my old Samsung setup.
