Hello

Hi,

Just joined the forum & thought I should introduce myself.

I have been diving for many years (20+) but I'm still relatively new to the UW photography lark! What I have learned so far is that it is a bottomless pit that I just keep pouring money into!

Must say that I have resisted taking my camera out with me in the UK so far, as the facilities on UK dive boats leave a lot to be desired. If we get a good summer this year I think I will try a dive or two with the camera.

I generally try to fit in at least one foreign diving holiday every year, but most of my 100 or so dives every year is done on the south coast.

You can see some of my blue water efforts here: Flickr: Photos & Video from hamishmorrison

I look forward to contributing to the discussions.

Cheers,

Hamish.

Hi Jules,

I have my Canon 5D in a Subal housing with dual Inon strobes. I like the full frame capabilities, especially as I do more wide angle than close up / macro.

Currently my underwater lenses are 15mm FE, 17-40mm & 100mm macro.

I just received my Magic Filters & I am going to experiment more with available light photography hopefully.

Hamish.
