    Tokina 35mm macro lens info

Does anyone have any experience of the Tokina 35mm Macro lens,
I was wondering if it would be a decent lens for getting closer to larger subjects in UK waters, as with my Nikon 60mm lens I have to back of too much when photographing larger subjects in UK waters.
My Equipment: Nikon D300 in Subal housing, Nikon 60mm & 105mm micro, 12-24mm & 17-55mm wide angle, 10.5mm fisheye lenses, Dual Inon Z220 strobes.

No experience of it, but on a D300 behind a flat port that's equivalent to 61mm in old terms. Could be a good compromise, but I think you'd find the macro not good enough magnification and the backing off for bigger stuff also not good enough.

Since changing from a Sigma 50mm to a Nikon 60mm I have found similar. The extra 10mm makes quite a difference.
