Hi!

Given a stationary object, a particular lense, and a given full format camera, your image will be subject to a certain amount of motion blur. If you replaced the full format sensor with a smaller one, e.g. crop factor 1,5 and took the same picture under identical conditions, the second image would be identical to the first one, except from the fact that it would be cropped. I.e. the motion blur will be identical in the two cases. -> The motion blur does not depend on the size of the sensor.

I can see what you're saying. However when you blow the picture up to say A3 the motion blur will be more noticable on the cropped sensor than full frame or 35mm film because the magnification is greater.

If this isn't the case the shouldn't it be practically impossible to get camera shake on a compact camera that has a 16mm telephoto lens and shouldn't medium format cameras be far more prone to camera shake than 35mm when a 75mm lens is wide angle.
