    Stoney macro shots...

    Good afternoon all,

Right, now that I have got the rig sorted but the vis is shocking I had a crack at some macro stuff in Stoney on Wednesday. I'd love to know what you think of them, I think they're not too bad for a first attempt.

    Cheers all,

    Noel.

I love macro as even with crap stoney-like viz you can get some really clear pictures like these.

For a first try, the pictures are nice although the 2nd is a little out of focus?

Noel, it would be interesting to see the first two photos upside down. Where were these taken - I don't recognise the red paint.

    Hi Tim,
Yes I too thought that no.2 was a bit out on the focus front but I thought I'd put it up anyway for comparison purposes. Pictures were taken on the port side of the Stanegarth on Wednesday afternoon.

    Cheers,

    Noel

Hope you don't mind, I played around with the first two slightly and preferred them with a crop to focus in on just the bubbles, either way up they are very interesting. Maybe I'm looking at it differently seeing as I have never been to Stoney!!
