Well got my 8" dome for the 10-20mm but weather has not been kind. Last week got a proper macro, a 50mm Sigma and port and managed to get out for a play.

I love the scallop, great to see his eyes!

What housing are you using for the Canon? I've got a 400D too and have a Hugyfot...

I'm using the Ikelite with twin Inon strobes.

Ahhh is that Inon Z240? I'm off to Ocean Optics on saturday to buy my first one... They're insisting on setting everything up for me too to ensure it works with the camera but looks like you may already have the answer

Tazzie,
By saying "insisting" that sounds like you aren't keen. Believe me, a hour or so with people like Ocean Optics or any of the other shops is worth the trip. I would say the simple little things that Cameras Underwater told me meant that I didn't have to learn them through bad photos and probably saved a dive or two on the learning curve. You also will have peace of mind that when you leave the shop the thing is going to work!

No sorry, it wasn't supposed to sound not keen at all - I am bowled over by their care and attention especially after a bad experience with one of the other well known underwater camera retailers.

Every minute is draging between now and getting to go up there at the weekend to set it up, goodness knows I need all the help I can get!!

Apologies if it read that way, it certianly was not my intention

Yes I've got the Z240, I'm very partial to the Inons (I have three) one I still
use with my point and shoot Canon along with an Inon Fisheye lens. Had some good results with it. At present I use this as a slave to the Z240 when I need dual strobes and it seems to work OK as long as I'm not in the company of other photographers. As I usually dive solo that hasn't been a problem.
