Monthly Challenge - December 06

Well, it's that time of year when we all say "Oh my god it's DECEMBER already!?!". So, in keeping with the time of year we're looking for something festive. But for a change we want to fix the format so, this months challenge is:

Wide-Angle Festive Scenics in Portrait Format

Now this may mean dressing up a willing model or whatever - however you want to interpret it.

Now go get 'em...

Nothing too specific, then?

I like a challenge..........

Does that mean a fish can be the subject of the portrait if it is involved in a Nativity scene? Rather surreal image from Las Eras in Tenerife!

Yep, remember, you should still be after a good shot but go for it.

Thumbs up

God thats really weird.....bit like some of those 'strange paintings' you get in modern art gallerys (tho I have to say occasionally they work for me). Or the adverts on the TV with the giant fish.
You may be onto something there Gareth. Can you imagine a set of christmas cards like this?
Nice work

Perfect!

That's exactly the image I had in my mind when I set this and Mark and I discussed that we could just dress up and do it. I guess we realised as the month went on that dressing up and jumping into Stoney or Crapers just wasn't going to happen.

It's great you had somebody do it.
