You pretty much hit the nail on the head there Mike. I think that the 10.5 is too wide for wrecks and lighting across the frame is difficult but the 12-24 is too soft in corners.
As you can see from the shot above, the top corners are a lot darker showing how little ambient light there actually was - such is the difficutly of diving in Mull in March!
