Monthly Challenge - July 07
For this month we should be mostly looking for:

Finally I managed to capture something for the monthly challenge. Only freshwater crayfish, but I actually managed to spot 20 or more of them;
     The last one has really been in the wars, but still wanted a fight! I'd be interested to know what people think about the first one - I'm undecided. I wanted to capture with restricted depth of field, so kept focussing on the eyes. This little bugger then wanted a fight so its claw is well out of focus. I think it adds depth, but at other times think it distracts. Rob

In repsonse to your question Rob, I hadn't really noticed the out of focus claw until I read you comment. Looking at it again, I don't think it is a distraction as my eyes are drawn to the crayfish eyes, which I think is what you wanted to achieve. So for, no problemo.
