The chap with the Manchester flights has buggered off to Dahab for a hol at RSR. I have sent a message that he has a PM.

In any case haven't heard back from Mike about changing the photography course (but he might be off doing one somewhere else) or about the meeting on the Monday. Will let you know though.

Would be nice to go but I do hope that I will make it to the 2nd stage of the assesment. I will be at home taking care of our newest members to the family .

It is a good trip, truly enjoyed it last time.

    Have fun Maria

    Sssoooo excited . . .

Okay - everyone cross your fingers! The chap with the Manch flights is back and is off to ring Thomson, I have also rung Oonas to check they still had space - they do but in a royal tent - otherwise they wanted me to share with Daniel.

The barsteward taxman has come and taken my money but I looked sad and pathetic and OH said I could flex the credit card - so if all goes well I will get to meet you lovely peeps next Friday!!

Oh dear - are you one of them?

And you seem so nice! Well I promise not to bore you with the litany of errors that has occurred if I am on this trip!

So, what do we do about the packing?
Take it most people will be taking the photo kit on as hand luggage?
Got a mid size lowepro bag but not sure, on if will all fit,.

    what do other people use?

I have a hard case (smaller and lighter than a pelican) that takes the housing (less handles), ports, cables, and strobes. The grease, arms etc go in the hold luggage. That said, Maria normally takes the laptop and so I may have to resort to my lowepro if everything fits in.

    From excited to not . . .

Well it is time to call it a day to my holiday aspirations. The universe obviously knows that I don't really have the cash and ought to go to that meeting. Thompson (lots of swear words) wanted a small fortune to change the flight details so no trip abraod for me. (That they are so and so's will come as no surprise to some of you).

Anyway have a fab time and will see you all in Scapa if I don't get a chance to meet you before!
