South Coast?

I'm up for a bit of shore diving this weekend - I haven't been in the water for so long and I'm desperate to get back to it.

So, anybody up for a dive somewhere on the south coast - I was thinking somewhere like Swanage which I've not done before but I'd be happy going most places.

Any takers? It'd be great if we could make it a bit of a get-together.

Tim

Unfortunately I've got the parents down for the weekend otherwise I would always be up for anything on the south coast. A word of warning though. I've been under the pier a fair few times this year and always had a lot of particles. I understand that the viz this weekend was really not good. Maria and I were due to go down to join some of the YDers but ended up pulling out after hearing how bad the viz was (although Maria was also not feeling too well).

Oh right, thanks for the heads up.

Well, I'm open to anywhere else - Babbacombe?

Damn - I'm under a self imposed dive ban for the next two weeks in the hope that recent neck problems will have a chance to clear before i go to Bali.

Defo up for something when I get back though, Swanage pier rocks! (Excuse the pun!) And have never dived Babacombe.

Can we sort out a mini meet up a la brief conversation (re St Abbs) in chit chat?

You don't fancy making it the weekend of the 13th/14th? My parents have been complaining for a while about me not seeing them since they moved and so there is no way I can duck out of it.

I can't I'm afraid as that's the dive show coupled with this self imposed dive ban for a couple of weeks.

I guess this time of year it will make it tricky sorting out an alternative weekend for us to get together though

I can't do this either as I'm off to the Red Sea - this is partly the reason I'd like to get in this w/e so that I can ensure the camera is working ok before I leave.

would love to do a couple of dives on sunday, if not the coast, then could do stoney cove. So you could check your camera gear tim.

But lets see who else is up for dive, and which day?

Cant do the 13th/14th as working 13th and visiting the dive show 14th,
Would love to dive sunday 7th.

One reason i said stoney was less drive time, around 1hr for me, Or 3hr drive to babbcombe is not one i fancy.

But on the other hand have had enough of weekend dives, at stoney.
Any other dive sites on the west coast, bristol area tim or anything like that?.
simon.
