What I lack in photographic skills...

I make up for in Photoshop!
I've been using the behemoth that is photoshop for nigh on ten years now. Not primarily for photo editing, admittedly, but I do know my way around, and would be happy to try and solve any queries.

If there's enough interest and pics to work on, it might be worth starting a library of actions files for people to use. I'm guessing most of it will be "take out the green" and "add some red" but you never know.

Nice Idea Davey.

How about this for starters, I would like something that would take a folder full of images, import them and automatically add a border etc and then save the files.

How's the best way to do that?

I am certainly after an action for take out the green, I am having real trouble with one pic. Usually I set the White balance before I start taking photos but messed it up on a couple at the weekend.

Please help

Mark

Wrong ISO Settings

On my last visit to Sharm I took my new untested Fuji F40 with new untested Inon UFL165-AD Wide Angle Lens. Took loads of shots sometimes remembering to set manual white balance and playing about with various other settings. My main problem was that I left my ISO setting too high (1600) on most shots and now have very grainy pictures. I'd be really greatfull if you have an Action to repair these.

well, I wouldnt count on any of these questions being answered by the original poster: since joining in 2005, he has made 4 posts, not one of them answering these questions...

Thats an excellent little tutorial there and I am sure it will be very useful. Personally I wouldnt bother to tweak a photo that much. If it needs that amount of work post processing than its probably not a very good pic in the first place and I personally couldnt be bothered unless it was something very unusual or was of particular interest.
