Canon G9 RAW with Photoshop 7.0

Was just wondering if there was anyway of opening my canon g9's RAW files with Photoshop 7.0

dont know anything specific, but isn't adobe's camera raw (ACR) regularly updated ?

You've a new camera and an old version of Photoshop. Adober do not update the camera RAW for old versions of Photoshop. There may be a way around it. Adobe specified their own RAW format DNG. They provide a free standalone convertor Adobe - Digital Negative (DNG): Supporters which will convert your canon RAW file to DNG. I think the RAW convertor in Photoshop 7 will open the resulting DNG file.

Thanks for the help. I've now managed to get upto CS3. Loaded the lated Camera RAW and everything is ok.
