Not green water...

This isn't a green water video and it is shortened by over 4 minutes to fit YouTube but here goes...

Berko,
What can I say? I really enjoyed watching that. Your editorial skills are excellent, no clip was too short or too long, nice hard transitions, and I have to change my opinion on narration (I normally don't like it, but this was excellent). It was also good in that it wasn't a linear set of clips from an individual dive, although the way you put it together you felt like you were on a dive with the lass with the Nikonos (apart from the bit when it went dark!).

I'm sure the film makers can give more technical feedback, but from a divers perspective I thought it was excellent,
Rob

Thanks for the kind comments Rob. The vid was originally supposed to be my 'showreel' but I was persuaded to enter it in festivals and it ended up doing OK. It was shot on 3 chip Hi8 in the pre-dig era so that digi sharpness isn't there but the old Sony VX1000 handled the u/w conditions beautifully. Annette, the lady who did the narration is German (her dad bombed our chip shop ) and her voice just fitted the pace and subject and really made the show.

Wow, that really was very good. Well done Andy.

The commentary was really quite unusual with the German accent and its was helped by a good script - I particularly liked the humour in the 'pecking order', very nice.

Post more.

Any Green water stuff?

Tim
