Photoshop Elements and RAW
Sorry I am sure I have read about this before on here but cant seem to find it anywhere now that I am actually in need of the info and irritating myself now!
I am running elements 6 and have a canon ixus that I have put the CDHK update on to take RAW images. How now do I use the RAW files in elements? Do I have to get another update? Thanks again guys J |

As this is not an official Canon format it's highly unlikely that Adobe software will support this RAW format. All RAW files have a different structure and the convertor has to be written to support each one.
There is free software that will support these files. DCRAW and RAWtherapee are supposed to provide support. If you want to use PhotoShop the best option is to use one of these programs to convert to DNG the Adobe Digital Negative file type which is Adobes attempt to provide a standard RAW format.
