Well I bought Tazzie's off of her, so Trenemene is your man!

How are you getting on with using Tazzie's [ex] strobe for backlighting? Any results to show?

Can't remember when the strobe arrived. But soon after I went to Sweden for 3 weeks. Been back for about 10 days. Was going to try last Wednesday, but my buddy dropped out. Friday I'm off to France and Isle of Wight for 3 more weeks work.

So I'm afraid nothing to show yet, other than rubbish in my living room.

I've not really come up with any good ideas for it in Stoney anyway. Backlit weeds wont look that good, so maybe I'll have to do ghostly illuminations from within the wrecks, or get my buddy to hold it and illuminate himself. Guildenburgh may be better with the sunken trees. You need something fat to hide the main light beam, otherwise that's all you see.

After a chat with Tim I'm thinking I may add coloured filters to the light and have had an idea to back light a bit of white plastic to create Doubillet-esque images of, well, Pike maybe?

I WANT A DIVE!!!!!!! Bet I don't get a chance in Perpignan or IoW, but then again I wont have a camera with me anyway

Rob

PS fancy a dive in Guildy some time towards the end of October

I am off for the last couple of weeks in October but I definitely need to try out my new arms before then. Let me know when you are free and I'll travel up.
