Watermead
I was out this morning at Watermead Park. For those that don't know it, it's a water park / nature reserve on the edge of Leicester. I often walk around one of the lakes at Lunch time as it's very close to where I work - I've never been around all of it tho and also never been there with a camera. It turns out that it is a whole lot bigger than I thought and even after 2 hours of walking around, I still didn't cover it all.
It's an absolutely fabulous place - anyway I've posted some photos in the Gallery and below. Cheers. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Tim,
Nice set of photos. My kids love Watermead, but a 2 year old and photography don't tend to mix. Great spot for dragonflies and Damselflies. I spent Saturday at Lydiard Park in Swindon and today at Bradgate Park near Leicester. The colours of the trees at the moment is fantastic. I also spent Friday in Stoney getting to grips with two strobes and manual camera settings. I'll post a couple when I get round to the NEFs, but everyone is probably bored of my Pike shots by now!
